Judd Foundation

Judd Foundation maintains and preserves Donald Judd's permanently installed living and working spaces, libraries, and archives in New York and Marfa, Texas. The Foundation promotes a wider understanding of Judd's artistic legacy by providing access to these spaces and resources and by developing scholarly and educational programs. Its board and staff are based in New York and Marfa, and it operates a Marfa Restoration Plan intended to restore, protect, and sustain Donald Judd's spaces for future generations.

The Foundation's Oral History Project documents perspectives on Judd's artistic philosophy and working method; since the project began, Judd Foundation has interviewed 85 individuals, and the Foundation endeavors to make the material available for public viewing in various formats and through the Judd Foundation Archives, which are being catalogued to allow public access in the future.
