    JumpCloud network intrusion and downstream attacks

    In July 2023, JumpCloud experienced a network intrusion that enabled attackers to conduct downstream attacks against other organizations. SentinelOne attributed the operation to North Korean state-sponsored hackers, and JumpCloud CISO Bob Phan later confirmed the attribution. The incident was especially consequential because JumpCloud provides identity and access infrastructure used by customer organizations.
