Overview

keeeper specializes in creating products designed to preserve belongings and organize everyday activities, spanning home, kitchen, storage and kids categories. The brand describes itself as a provider of plastic household products, emphasizing simple, innovative and durable solutions, resilient design, quality and functional style. Its stated vision is to make it easy to keep what you love.

History

The company traces its plastics expertise back more than 67 years. In 1959, the ironworks SULO (Streuber & Lohmann Eisenwerke GmbH & Co. KG) from Herford built a plastics production factory in Stemwede with the aim of adding household goods made from plastics to its portfolio. In 1971, designer Luigi Colani created a baby product collection for SULO, including a baby bath that remained a bestseller and is still sold by the keeeper brand. In 1986, OKT Kunststofftechnik GmbH was established at the Stemwede-Oppenwehe headquarters. In 1991, following the fall of the Berlin Wall, Wrede Industrieholding GmbH & Co. KG became involved.
