KSV1870

KSV1870 is an Austrian financial services organization. In 1875, under the title "Mitteilungen des Creditorenvereins", a weekly newspaper listing current insolvencies appeared; this weekly communication still exists today as a modern email newsletter. In 1890, the association moved to Zelinkagasse 10 in Vienna's first district, where it operated for 115 years. In 1913, a new era began in creditor protection, with restructuring in the association and the establishment of a collections department together with an international legal aid department and an information department; branches were also established in Prague, Brno, and Budapest. In 1917, with amended statutes, the name was changed.
