History
Lapels Cleaners was founded in 2000 to become the first environmentally friendly dry cleaning franchise. Kevin DuBois's introduction to the dry cleaning industry came in 2001 when he acquired a restaurant from the founder of Lapels. He became a partner in the company, eventually bought out his partner, and as CEO expanded the Lapels brand from 20 to over 100 storefronts. In 2021, Kevin acquired several franchise brands — Martinizing, 1-800-DryClean, Pressed4 Time, Dry Cleaning Station, and Bizziebox — and established Clean Brands.
