LIGABusinessinform (Ukrainian: ЛІГАБізнесІнформ, often abbreviated as ІА ЛІГАБізнесІнформ) is a Ukrainian news agency and business information brand. It is part of the LIGA Group of Companies and operates within the Ligamedia media holding, which unites information, communication and advertising projects including the LIGA.net news portal, the LIGABusinessinform information agency, the Adlove advertising agency and the company Bprofit. The agency is headquartered in Kyiv and serves the Ukrainian market with business, financial and legal news. The brand traces its origins to the late 1990s and early 2000s, when the liga.net domain was acquired and the LIGA.net portal was launched. In 2001 a news service was created and the company obtained the status of an information agency. In 2002 the LIGABusinessinform business information network was established, and in 2003 the LIGABusinessinform trademark was registered. Over the following years the agency expanded its infrastructure, opening a press centre in 2005 and separating the business news portal LIGA.net from the legal search service LIGA:ZAKON. In 2007 a legal entity was created and the logo of the information agency LIGABusinessinform was developed. In 2011 the production studio LBI Prodaction was established to create video content. In 2017 the media holding Ligamedia was created, replacing the LIGABusinessinform information agency and uniting all its products under a new brand. Ligamedia attracted direct investment from the United States. Despite the rebranding, LIGABusinessinform remains an active information agency brand within the holding, providing news and business information to Ukrainian audiences. The agency has received recognition for its work, including a 'Quality Mark' medal in 2009 and a third-place ranking among Ukrainian information agencies by net income in 2013 according to Delo.ua. In October 2019, the USAID Financial Sector Transformation project signed an agreement with LIGABusinessinform to develop the LIGA.Money comparison platform. The agency received a 'Quality Mark' medal in 2009 and ranked third among Ukrainian information agencies by net income in 2013 according to Delo.ua.
