Overview

LOGI-REX Inc. (株式会社ロジ・レックス) is a Japanese logistics company specializing in third-party logistics (3PL), air freight forwarding, customs clearance, and related supply-chain services. It was established on 28 March 1970 as Nikko Delivery Co., Ltd. (日航デリバリー株式会社), a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, with its head office located inside Tokyo International Airport (Haneda). Over the following decades it changed its name several times — to Nikko Logistics in 1990 and to JAL Logistics in 2003 — while building expertise in airport logistics, customs brokerage, and air cargo forwarding at Tokyo, Narita, and Kansai international airports. A turning point came in 2010, when Japan Airlines International entered corporate reorganization proceedings. On 1 October 2010 all shares held by Japan Airlines International were transferred to Hamakyorex Co., Ltd., and on 2 November 2010 the company changed its name to LOGI-REX Inc. Under the Hamakyorex umbrella, LOGI-REX expanded beyond airport logistics into 3PL, air freight forwarding, mailing-center operation, and consolidated freight transport in cooperation with group company Chikumo Rex. The company describes three core strengths: on-site capability (現場力), planning capability (企画力), and group capability (グループ力). It operates domestic logistics branches in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, and international logistics branches at Narita International Airport, including customs operations and multiple warehouse facilities. Its services cover 3PL, e-commerce logistics, international logistics, customs clearance, and office relocation. LOGI-REX is headquartered in Nishiura, Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, and remains a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamakyorex.
