History

Longsys was established in 1999 as Shenzhen Longsys Electronics Co., Ltd., initially engaged in MASK ROM services. In 2002, the company took the lead in releasing a USB control chip based on AG-AND flash memory, providing high-compatibility and cost-effective storage solutions in China. By 2006, it had expanded into the research, development, production, and sales of SD cards and MMC mobile flash memory cards. In 2007, the company passed the ISO9001:2000 quality system certification. Over the following years, Longsys continued to build out its storage product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. It formed four product lines: embedded storage, solid-state drive (SSD), mobile storage, and memory module. The company created the FORESEE brand, focused on industrial-grade storage products. In 2017, Longsys acquired the rights to the Lexar brand, an international high-end consumer storage brand. In early 2019, it introduced its first 1 TB SD card to the market. Longsys has expanded globally through a series of mergers and an extensive international presence, establishing subsidiaries and branches across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. This forms an international service chain from R&D through to production and sales, supported by a flexible, efficient, and cost-optimized global storage manufacturing supply chain network.
