Overview
Losant is an enterprise IoT platform that provides a low-code workflow engine to collect, centralize, and integrate data from connected devices and systems. It offers features such as data orchestration, visualization, edge computing, and multi-tenancy. The platform is designed to scale to millions of devices and handle millions of data points per second.
History
Losant was created as an easy-to-use application enablement platform. The founders are Michael Kuehl, Brandon Cannaday, and Charlie Key. In 2015, after Cannaday and Key successfully sold Modulus, they began to get requests for a platform that could help with IoT solutions. Kuehl joined the team to help build Losant.
