Mall GmbH is a German manufacturer of precast concrete systems for environmental and climate protection, headquartered in Donaueschingen in the Black Forest region of Baden-Württemberg. The company traces its origins to 1887, when engineer Anton Mall founded the Cementwarenfabrik Mall. By 1902 it was one of the largest employers in Donaueschingen with 60 staff. In 1952 the founder's grandsons, Roland and Hans-Georg Mall, converted the business into Betonwerk Mall & Co. in Pfohren. The company began specialising in environmental technology products in 1960, and in 1980 Mall Beton GmbH was established, later merged with Mall Neutra GmbH in 2001 to form today's Mall GmbH. Mall produces and sells systems for rainwater management, separation technology, wastewater treatment, pumping and plant engineering, and renewable energy. Its product range includes rainwater harvesting and retention systems, light-liquid separators, washing-water treatment, sewage treatment plants, manhole structures, fire-water tanks, and pellet storage systems for wood pellets and wood chips. The company is active in the drainage and separation technology sector and is considered one of the market leaders in Europe in these fields. Since 2026, drinking water supply products have also been part of the portfolio. Mall operates nine production sites, seven in Germany and two in Austria, including locations in Donaueschingen-Pfohren, Ettlingen-Oberweier, Coswig (Anhalt), Klieken, Haslach im Kinzigtal, Nottuln, Asten near Linz, and St. Valentin. In Germany the company has 25 sales branches and over 21 additional sales offices in other European countries. It employs around 500 people, 460 in Germany and 40 in Austria. Revenue has more than tripled since 2000, from 30 million euros to around 106 million euros expected for the 2025 financial year. The company's shares were transferred to the Roland-Mall-Familienstiftung in 2014. Mall maintains a testing and development centre for separators, primarily light-liquid separators, rainwater and sewage treatment plants at its Donaueschingen site, and has published a handbook for wastewater concepts.
