Malmö Brewing Co

Malmö Brewing Co is a Swedish brewery based in Malmö. According to its website, the brewery opened to the public in November 2010, and its About page describes it as a meeting place for the craft beer community with in-house brewed beer, 42 taps featuring local and international craft beer, and scratch-made food. The company is operated by a team led by CEO Anders Hansson.

According to the About page, in 2002 Anders Hansson, together with his parents, acquired an old abandoned building in Malmö with the idea of one day opening a brewpub there. After a year of construction, a conference centre and a nightclub were in full swing, which would help finance further construction and the renovation of the old building. In November 2010 the brewery was ready to open to the public. The page also states that starting in 2010 the local craft beer community grew from a few enthusiasts to a vibrant local beer scene.
