Mezikis

Mezikis (Hebrew: מזיקיס) is an Israeli pest-control company that provides extermination and prevention services against a wide range of pests, including cockroaches, ants, bedbugs, fleas, rodents, mosquitoes, termites, wasps, and moths. The company markets itself around the concept of "green pest control" (הדברה ירוקה), emphasizing licensed, approved materials and a service-first approach. Its website states that it holds a valid pest-control license through 2029 and uses materials approved by Israel's Ministry of Environmental Protection. According to its official website, Mezikis was founded by two partners, Dor and Dima, who began as a single exterminator and grew into a full team with a secretary and trusted subcontractors. The company claims over 15 years of cumulative experience. It offers 24/7 availability, transparent pricing, and a workmanship warranty. A notable differentiator it promotes is heat treatment for bedbugs, which it describes as a method few competitors perform. Mezikis serves both residential and commercial clients. Its service menu includes treatment for private homes, apartment buildings (va'ad habayit), offices, factories, and restaurants. The company has also built a niche in serving animal-related institutions: its website states that its exterminators work with the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem (גן החיות התנכ"י), the Ramat Gan Safari (הספארי ברמת גן), and Hai Kef in Rishon LeZion (החי כיף בראשון לציון). This positioning emphasizes safety for pets and animals. In terms of reputation, the website cites a Midrag rating of 9.9 out of 10 based on over 760 recommendations, and more than 250 Google reviews. It also offers online booking and a cost calculator, and runs a referral promotion giving 10% off to both the referrer and the referred friend. The company's branding is informal and service-oriented, with a stated philosophy that the profession "is not really about pests — it's about people."
