Mobatime

Mobatime AG is a Swiss company that supports companies in Switzerland in recording time, securing access and operating precision clocks. It employs 95 people at locations in Dübendorf and Le Mont-sur-Lausanne. The company is the manufacturer of the Swiss railway clock and official SBB watchmaker. It covers five specialized competence areas: time recording, access control, clock systems, vehicle devices, ARV evaluation systems and CX solutions.

Mobatime AG was founded in 1945. In 2002, J. Bosshard AG was renamed to Mobatime Swiss AG. In 2012, Mobatime Swiss AG became Mobatime AG. In 2004, Mobatime Swiss AG became National Distributor of Siemens VDO. In 2006, it took over Dictaphone activities in the Public Safety area. In 2008, it moved into a new business building in Dübendorf. In 2020, it celebrated its 75th anniversary. In 2021, a comprehensive building renovation in Dübendorf was completed. In 2025, it celebrated its 80th anniversary.
