The Stratos fan (1988) was born and forged the path for an evolution in ceiling fan design. Brazilian designer Guto Indio da Costa is described as the newest contributor to Modern Fan's assortment; his IC/Air Series was brought from Brazil to the U.S. market in collaboration with Modern Fan.
