Nanchang Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd

Nanchang Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd is a large state-owned enterprise group that mainly undertakes the investment, construction, operation, development and management functions of Nanchang's urban rail transit. It was established in October 2008, originally named Nanchang Rail Transit Co., Ltd, and changed to its current name in January 2012. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanchang Communications Investment Group, funded and controlled by the Nanchang municipal government, and is responsible for the financing, construction and operation of Nanchang Metro.

  In August 2021, Li Yunfeng, Party secretary and chairman of Nanchang Rail Transit Group, was placed under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation, and in December he was expelled from the Party and removed from public office, with notices stating that he interfered in engineering projects and illegally accepted property and that he was suspected of bribery and transferred to the procuratorate; in October 2025 the group's former general manager Jiang Tao was also double-opened for serious violations of discipline and law. Li Yunfeng was double-opened and transferred for prosecution; Jiang Tao was double-opened.
