NIKIN

NIKIN is a Swiss sustainable fashion brand founded in 2016, describing itself as Swiss design produced in Europe. Its product range includes TreeShirt, TreeHoodie, TreeSweater, TreeSocks and TreePolo items made with organic cotton and GOTS-certified materials. The brand states that every product plants a tree, that over 2.8 million trees have been planted, and that it has more than 250,000 tree planters. It also develops sustainable corporate apparel and merchandising solutions, and states a goal of 100% circularity by 2030.

NIKIN was founded in 2016 from the conviction that it is possible to create good products without unnecessarily harming nature. The brand states that two childhood friends met for a beer in a bar in Lenzburg in 2016, which is when the idea for NIKIN was born. It also states that Nicholas started a small project called NIKIT while still at university, designing black gym bags with his own logo, and that when a well-known snowboard brand from Iceland intervened due to the name, he had to put the project on hold; at NIKIN, trademark rights were subsequently checked twice. Robin is described as a trained automotive mechatronics technician who, after vocational baccalaureate, a preparatory design course, and industrial design studies, sought more creativity. The brand states it now has over 25 people.
