The name expresses their idea: o.b.® is the abbreviation for 'ohne Binde' (without pad), chosen to make the product name discreet, modern and elegant. The abbreviation proved very successful, and 'o.b.' has since become a synonym for 'tampon'. The brand states it has been a part of the lives of millions of women for over 70 years and a symbol of their self-confidence.
