Overview
One Joon (주식회사 원준) is a South Korean industrial equipment company specializing in thermal processing solutions for secondary battery materials. Headquartered at 174-29 Sanup-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, the company designs and supplies Roller Hearth Kilns (RHK), gas-atmosphere firing furnaces, and related process engineering for the production of cathode and anode materials used in lithium-ion batteries. Its principal customers include major battery material producers such as POSCO Chemical (now POSCO Future M), LG Chem, SM Lab, and EcoPro BM. Founded in November 2008 in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, One Joon grew from a venture-certified startup into a KOSDAQ-listed company. It registered as a POSCO supplier in 2008 and as a Samsung Electro-Mechanics supplier in 2009, and in 2010 achieved the first domestic localization of a Roller Hearth Kiln for MLCC firing. The company subsequently developed equipment for electrode firing, carbon fiber carbonization and activation, and expanded into process engineering and turnkey (EPC) construction for battery material plants. Internationally, One Joon established a Chinese joint venture in 2019, acquired the business and assets of Germany's Eisenmann Thermal Solutions in 2020 through its new German subsidiary ONEJOON GmbH, and set up subsidiaries in the United States (2020), Poland (2021), and Canada (2023). It listed on the KOSDAQ in October 2021. The company has received multiple export awards, including the Million Dollar Export Tower (2016), Ten Million Dollar Export Tower (2019), and Fifty Million Dollar Export Tower (2024).
