Overview

Oowee Vegan is a vegan fast-food restaurant that originated from Oowee Diner in 2018. It serves an extensive menu of exclusively vegan burgers, dirty fries, shakes, and sides. The brand aims to revolutionise fast food and be loved by vegans and non-vegans alike.

History

Oowee Vegan was born from the original brand Oowee Diner in 2018, and was the first of its kind in the UK. It was a vegan fast-food restaurant serving an exclusively vegan menu. The founders, Charlie and Verity, set up Oowee Diner in 2016 on Picton Street, Bristol. After developing a fried seitan 'chicken' burger at their second diner in 2017, they remade their whole menu in plant-based form, leading to the opening of Oowee Vegan on Baldwin Street, Bristol in 2018.
