Otto Christ

Otto Christ AG is a manufacturer of vehicle washing systems, specializing in car washes for cars, commercial vehicles, and rail vehicles. The company offers tailored solutions for car wash parks, gas stations, car dealerships, freight companies, and transport operators. It has been active since 1963.

The company was founded in 1879 when Anton Christ established a craft business in Memmingen, initially producing grain sieves, wire mesh, and church grilles. In 1963, Franz Christ built the first car wash next to the family business, leading to custom manufacturing that formed the basis of current production. In 1968, the first wash street was produced. In 1996, the company was renamed Otto Christ AG and the subsidiary Christ Electronic Systems GmbH was founded. In 1997, Christ Packing Systems GmbH & Co. KG was founded through the acquisition of Pietruska. In 2000, the company acquired shares of SVG Superwash Waschanlagen GmbH.
