History
The origins of PHE date back to 1962 with the creation of Autodistribution, when seven independent distributors decided to create a purchasing center for automotive spare parts in France. Over the years, Autodistribution structured itself and welcomed both subsidiary and independent distributors. In 1985, Autodistribution laid the foundations of a new model by inaugurating a first network of independent multi-brand repair with the AD Pro (mechanical) and AD Top (bodywork) brands. In 2006, Autodistribution acquired Cora, a specialist in body parts. 2010 marked an important step for Autodistribution with the creation of a new governance associating subsidiary and independent distributors. In 2014, Autodistribution's growth continued with the acquisition of ACR, specialized in mechanical and technical parts. The Group began its digital transformation with the launch of idgarages.com and ad.fr. The Group internationalized with the acquisition of Doyen in Belgium, then establishment in Italy in 2017, the Netherlands in 2018, Spain in 2019 and Ireland in 2025. PHE also operates in the B2C market with Oscaro since 2018. In 2025, PHE generated revenue of more than 2.94 billion euros, one third of which was international, and employs nearly 10,500 people.
