Pond Security Service is a security service company based in Erlensee, Germany, founded in 1983 by Daniel M. Pond. Pond Security Service was founded in 1983 by Daniel M. Pond. Daniel M. Pond, a Korean-born orphan and Vietnam veteran, was adopted by an American GI family. He learned Taekwondo, served in the U.S. Army from 1966, and was deployed in the Vietnam War. After his service ended in 1973, he was recognized as one of the world's top 30 Taekwondo masters and opened a martial arts studio in Erlensee, Hesse. His life experience, military training, and martial arts background formed the foundation for founding Pond Security Service in 1983.
