Poptori

Poptori is a Finnish record label and distribution company. It was established as a family business in 1978, and Poptori Oy was founded in 1995. The company offers a wide range of products including CDs and other music products through its online store.

Poptori's foundation was laid in 1978 when Jarmo Jylhä and Erkki Puumalainen combined their expertise into a common family business. Poptori Oy was established in 1995 to respond to challenges that arose in the market when a strong competitor, Musiikki Fazer, had moved to foreign interests through new ownership. The company describes itself as a strongly Finnish record and distribution company, and it is still a tight family community from which the distribution company has been separated for rising generations.
