Overview

Qredax is an independent buyer of FTX claims. It purchases claims from any country, though it works most often across the CIS: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and their neighbours. It also takes claims that other buyers refuse or underprice, such as claims stuck in KYC, claims from restricted jurisdictions, expunged claims and small Class 7 Convenience claims. Qredax pays in USDT after a Sale and Assignment of Claim (SAC) is signed.

History

Qredax is an independent buyer of FTX claims. It purchases claims from any country, though it works most often across the CIS: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and their neighbours. It also takes what other buyers refuse or underprice: claims stuck in KYC, claims from restricted jurisdictions, expunged claims and small Class 7 Convenience claims. The FTX Recovery Trust is distributing approximately $14.7 billion to former FTX customers across multiple tranches running through 2027 and beyond. Distributions are processed through Kroll under a Sale and Assignment of Claim (SAC) framework defined by Bankruptcy Rule 3001(e). Qredax purchases these claims directly, becoming the holder of record at Kroll, completing KYC as the new holder, and settling to the original creditor in USDT once the SAC is signed.
