Rail One

Rail One is a German railway company. According to its official website, the PCM RAILONE Group has been manufacturing concrete sleepers and track systems for urban transit and long-distance rail transportation for over 60 years.

According to the official history page, the company traces its roots to Gustav Adolf Pfleiderer, who established a lumber rafting and trading business in Heilbronn, Germany, in 1894. In 1919, the Pfleiderer brothers acquired a sawmill in Neumarkt and began industrial manufacture of trimmed lumber and wooden sleepers. In 1920, the company began collaboration with Deutsche Bahn. The first concrete sleepers were manufactured in 1954.
