Regal Nails Salon & Spa is a nail salon franchise system founded in 1997 in Baton Rouge, LA, where the franchisor headquarters remains. Its first salon opened in October 1997 inside a Kmart in Brooklyn, OH, and the same month the first Regal Nails inside a Walmart opened in Shreveport, LA. In 2005, Regal Nails, Salon & Spa, LLC was formed as the successor company to Regal Nails, LLC, expanding services beyond manicures and pedicures. The company began international expansion with plans for Canada, and its first Canadian franchisee opened in London, ON in September 2006. Regal launched a corporate rebranding with a new logo in 2015.

In 2005, Regal Nails, Salon & Spa, LLC was formed as the successor company to Regal Nails, LLC, bringing new salon models and expansion of services outside of just manicures and pedicures. That same year, the company took its first steps toward international expansion with plans for Canada; the first Canadian franchisee opened in London, ON in September 2006. Today, the franchisor operations are known as Regal Nails Canada, ULC. Regal launched a full corporate rebranding introducing a new logo in 2015.
