Overview
Roivenue is a Czech technology company that develops a SaaS platform for marketing data integration, marketing attribution and the evaluation of return on marketing investment. The project began taking shape in 2015 as a marketing analytics initiative associated with Pavel Šíma and other members of the founding team, and the legal entity Roivenue s.r.o. was registered in Prague on 29 January 2018. In its early years the company focused on e-commerce, digital marketing and measuring the return on online advertising spend, serving digital marketing teams in telecommunications, insurance and banking as well as e-shops. In 2018 Jan Barta, Dušan Šenkypl and David Holý invested in Roivenue through the Pale Fire Capital fund. The investment amounted to CZK 15 million for a minority stake, with an option for a further CZK 40 million tied to revenue milestones. That year Roivenue doubled its turnover from CZK 4.5 million to CZK 9 million, and in 2019 it moved purely to a SaaS model based on software licence sales, with licence revenue rising from 63% to 82% of turnover. By 2021 the company had gone through three investment rounds, with some employees participating alongside the Pale Fire Capital investors. In 2024 Roivenue's turnover was CZK 23.8 million and its annual recurring software licence revenue reached CZK 34 million. In November 2022 the Dutch marketing analytics company ScanmarQED acquired Roivenue, buying a 100% stake from the existing owners, including Pale Fire Capital, Pavel Šíma and Tomáš Čeleda. After the transaction Roivenue became part of the ScanmarQED group, and most of the Prague team stayed with the company. The acquisition was intended to strengthen ScanmarQED's position in marketing measurement in Europe and North America. In 2025 Pavel Šíma handed over the leadership of the company to Milan Knapp and Tomáš Kasalický. Roivenue develops software that connects data from online marketing channels, web analytics and a client's internal systems and evaluates the return on advertising investment. Its earlier core products included Roivenue Connectors, Data Integration and Attribution, which downloaded, stored and linked marketing data from web analytics and advertising platforms and then evaluated campaign performance including attribution modelling. From 2025 the company has been developing Unified Marketing Measurement (UMM), which combines several marketing measurement methods into a single model. As of 2026 Roivenue is focused among other things on UMM and AI-driven attribution: UMM links multi-touch attribution (MTA), marketing mix modelling (MMM) and incremental experiments into one model that measures the performance of digital and offline marketing channels, while AI-driven attribution uses data on user interactions, clicks and impressions to estimate the contribution of individual touchpoints to conversions. On the market side, the company began expanding into Scandinavian and Asian markets in 2022 and operated in 18 countries in 2025. As of 2026 Roivenue has offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the USA and the Czech Republic. Its official website positions the platform as "future-proofed marketing attribution for complex customer journeys", aimed at large brands, and highlights an agentic AI layer that can run the whole MTA workflow from attribution to the next budget move, an in-app AI data consultant called R-AI, and Roivenue MCP, which connects any AI agent to the customer's attribution data.
History
Roivenue began to emerge in 2015 as a project focused on marketing analytics. Among the people associated with the project's origins was Pavel Šíma and other members of the founding team. In its first years the project developed from its own resources, and in 2018 it obtained its first external investment. The company Roivenue s.r.o. was entered in the commercial register in Prague on 29 January 2018. In the early years Roivenue focused mainly on e-commerce, digital marketing and evaluating the return on investment in online advertising. In 2019 its customers included digital marketing teams from telecommunications, insurance and banking, as well as various e-shops. In 2018 Jan Barta, Dušan Šenkypl and David Holý invested in Roivenue through the Pale Fire Capital fund. The investment amounted to CZK 15 million, for which Pale Fire Capital obtained a minority stake. The agreement also provided for the possibility of investing a further CZK 40 million tied to the company's revenue milestones. In 2018 Roivenue doubled its turnover from CZK 4.5 million to CZK 9 million, and in 2019 it moved purely to a SaaS model based on the sale of software licences. Licence revenue had already formed a large part of turnover, but its share increased from 63% to 82%. By 2021 the company had gone through a total of three investment rounds; alongside the investors from Pale Fire Capital, some of its employees also participated in the financing. In 2024 Roivenue's turnover was CZK 23.8 million and the value of its annual recurring revenue from software licences was CZK 34 million. In November 2022 the Dutch company ScanmarQED, which operates in the field of marketing analytics, took over Roivenue. After the transaction Roivenue became part of the ScanmarQED group. The acquisition was intended to strengthen ScanmarQED's position in the field of marketing measurement in Europe and North America. ScanmarQED bought a 100% stake in the company from the existing owners, who included Pale Fire Capital, Pavel Šíma and Tomáš Čeleda. After the acquisition, most of the then Prague team remained with the firm. In 2025 Pavel Šíma handed over the leadership of the company to Milan Knapp and Tomáš Kasalický. Roivenue develops software for connecting data from online marketing channels, web analytics and a client's internal systems, and for evaluating the return on investment in advertising. In the past, its main products included Roivenue Connectors, Data Integration and Attribution. These tools served to download, store and link marketing data from web analytics and advertising platforms and subsequently to evaluate campaign performance, including attribution modelling. From 2025 the company has been developing the Unified Marketing Measurement (UMM) product, which combines several methods of marketing measurement into a single model. As of 2026 Roivenue is focused among other things on Unified Marketing Measurement (UMM) and AI-driven attribution.
