Overview

Room-C Games is an independent game development company based in Zagreb, Croatia. It was started in 2016 by Robert Sajko and Karlo Jež, who had worked at Croteam. The company's first game is 'The Hand of Merlin'.

History

Room C Games was started in 2016, when Robert Sajko and Karlo Jež, who had worked at Croteam at the time, showed their made-in-free-time prototype for what would later become Room-C’s first game “The Hand of Merlin” to Roman Ribarić, the CEO of Croteam. Ribarić was impressed, and asked: "So what budget do you need to finish this?" Apart from the funds to continue the development of the game, Croteam also provided the young team with a cozy working space within the Croteam office, a room designated as “Room C“. By the end of 2016 the team grew to 5 people, and continued to grow to 11 full time employees by the time The Hand of Merlin was launched. Today the team consists of 16 people working at our Zagreb office or remotely.
