Overview

Rosa's Thai is a restaurant group in the UK that serves authentic Thai food. It was founded by Saiphin and Alex, starting from a street stall on Brick Lane's Sunday market in the East End of London. The first site, Rosa's Spitalfields, opened in summer 2008 on Hanbury Street. The brand has since expanded to multiple locations across London and the North. The menu features classic Thai dishes made from family recipes, with ingredients imported directly from Thailand.

History

Rosa's Thai was born out of founder Saiphin's passion for authentic Thai food. It grew from a street stall on Brick Lane's Sunday market in the East End of London. By summer 2008, Saiphin and Alex bought an old caff on Hanbury Street, creating the first site 'Rosa's Spitalfields'. In 2009, they sold their house in Hong Kong to fund the second Rosa's in Soho. A third branch opened in 2011 at Westfield Stratford. In summer 2013, they were invited by Shaftesbury Estate to open a site on Carnaby Street. Since 2008, Rosa's has opened multiple locations around London and the North.
