Sawa

Sawa Corporation (株式会社サワーコーポレーション) is a Japanese company founded in 1991, headquartered in Hirakata, Osaka. It develops and manufactures cleaning equipment, primarily metal mask cleaning machines for the electronics industry, using proprietary ultrasonic cleaning methods. The company also offers inspection, processing, and conveyance solutions, and collaborates with partners on joint development projects.

Sawa Corporation was established in 1991 in Hirakata, Osaka, with the purpose of developing and manufacturing products with low environmental impact, amid concerns about ozone layer depletion caused by chlorofluorocarbons and trichloroethane. The company moved its headquarters and factory to the Kansai Science City Tsuda Science Hills in 2005. In 2014, Hikaru Sawairi became president. Sawa Holdings was established in 2018, SAWA Tsusho in 2019, and Shua (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in 2022.
