SimaPro is life cycle assessment (LCA) software that helps organizations measure, analyze, and reduce environmental impacts using robust datasets, scientific methods, and transparent modeling. It started in 1990, when eco-designer Mark Goedkoop, founder of SimaPro, set out to make life cycle assessment easier to apply in practice; in collaboration with CML Leiden, the first version of SimaPro was developed to bring scientific methods into everyday decision-making.
