Stratus Vineyards is a winery located in the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. It operates as a gravity-flow winery distinguished by a LEED-certified facility and a commitment to sustainability and quality. Its 55-acre farm in the Niagara Lakeshore appellation is planted to 16 grape varieties, supporting both signature assemblage wines (Stratus White and Stratus Red) and small-lot single varietal bottlings. The winery is certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Ontario and became Ontario's first B Corp certified winery. Founding winemaker J-L (Jean-Laurent) Groux, trained in Burgundy and Bordeaux, is celebrated for the art of assemblage; winemaker Dean Stoyka continues the estate's precision viticulture and sustainable practice.
