Studio Bside was founded in 2017. In 2018, the project CounterSide was revealed, and investments were received from Nexon and Devsisters Ventures, as well as a publishing contract with Nexon. In 2020, CounterSide launched in Korea. In 2021, CounterSide launched in Southeast Asia, China, and Japan. In 2022, CounterSide global service launched and Cafe Strega Pangyo branch opened. In 2023, CounterSide self-service began. In 2025, Star Savior launched in Korea and Japan. In 2026, Star Savior launched globally.
