History
Subliminal Records is described as a super-influential New York house and tech imprint that returned after a hiatus. Pioneering label boss Erick Morillo said the label would release great music from house to techno, with lots of records from different people. The label's plans included quality remixes, with a remix of 'Dancin' by Harry Romero and Doorly released on digital services including Beatport, and at the start of 2016 A-list artists such as Kölsch, Nic Fanciulli and The Martinez Brothers set to remix the best of the classic catalogue alongside electronic newcomers like Andre Hommen and Italian tech-house producer Pirupa. Morillo said he was excited about the project as it would re-introduce the classic Subliminal sound with a modern twist to the younger generation, and collaborations were in the works with the likes of Jamie Jones, Harry Romero and Eddie Thoneick.
