Timbuk2 is a bag brand whose founder, Rob Honeycutt, was a bike messenger in San Francisco in 1989, when the Classic Messenger Bag was created in the Mission District. The brand now sells backpacks, messengers, luggage, travel bags, duffels and crossbodies, including the Classic Messenger Bag, Authority Laptop Backpack, Parker Commuter Backpack, FreeStyle Carry-On Plus and Player Duffel Bag. It offers custom configuration across styles and colors, uses recycled materials, and backs its bags and accessories with a lifetime warranty.

In 1989, Timbuk2's founder Rob Honeycutt was a bike messenger in San Francisco. He fell in love with the functionality and utility of the messenger bag and wanted it to be accessible to all. In the Mission District neighborhood, the Classic Messenger Bag was born.
