In September 2024, Shanchuan Robotics sued Ecovacs (parent of Tineco), claiming that the function advertised as the 'world's first constant-pressure flowing-water floor washing' was available earlier in Shanchuan's 3i product, alleging false advertising; Ecovacs responded that Tineco owns the relevant patent and has taken countermeasures. The litigation is ongoing.
