Overview

TrackDuck is a visual feedback tool created by the Lithuanian IT company UAB Gudri antis (operating under the TrackDuck brand). It allows clients and developers to mark up websites directly on screen, indicating where changes or fixes are needed, thereby avoiding lengthy email-based back-and-forth during website development and maintenance. The tool integrates with popular project management and collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Trello, Basecamp, Asana, Teamwork.com, GitHub, and Slack, automatically syncing tasks between systems. The company was founded in 2013 by Edmundas Balčikonis and co-founders Anton Ševčenka and Eugenijus Ivaškevičius from Belarus. The founding team met at the Garage48 programming event in Minsk, where they built the first TrackDuck prototype. Early investment came from Finland after participating in the Startup Sauna accelerator selection, which helped create a new version of the application. By 2014, TrackDuck had 4,000 users across 88 countries, with main competitors being UserSnap (Austria) and BugHerd (Australia). The initial team consisted of seven people: three in Lithuania, three in Belarus, and one in Singapore. In 2014, TrackDuck won the TechChill Baltics competition in Riga, and within less than a month announced a €200,000 investment from Practica Capital and Kima Ventures (€100,000 each). In 2016, the company moved into the newly built Rise Vilnius startup community center. In May 2017, TrackDuck was acquired by market leader InVision. Following the acquisition, TrackDuck continued to operate under its own brand, and its team joined InVision. InVision's solutions were also integrated into TrackDuck. TrackDuck's achievements include winning the Startup Pitch Challenge at Login in Vilnius (2013), being named Belarusian IT Product of the Year (2013), taking second place at Yandex.Start in Russia (2013), winning TechChill Baltics (2014), and being selected as one of Lithuania's representatives for Startup Roadshow events in Tel Aviv, London, Berlin, and Stockholm.
