History
Tréca Paris was created in 1935 in Reichshoffen (Alsace) by M. Moritz. In 1939, during World War II, it produced mattresses for the French Army's Health Corps. In 1947, the Pullman suspension was introduced, and the Air Spring® suspension was patented. In 1955, the first electrically adjustable bed base C.A.D. (now SUPERCAD) was launched, along with the Omega® spring. In 1964, the decoration workshop was created, making Tréca Paris the first brand in the world to offer a complete range combining luxury mattresses, electric bases, and headboards. In 1967, the first mattress topper was created. In 1980, the iconic Impérial 'Air Spring®' Prestige mattress was launched. In 1982, the Trecaflex Slat was presented. In 1985, the asymmetric suspension for the PLATINUM system was created. In 2008, the first collaboration with a designer led to the haute couture collection by Chantal Thomass.
