Overview

Trioliet is a total supplier of premium feeding technology. Over more than 75 years, the family business has grown into a global player, providing mechanised and automated feeding solutions for cattle on professional farms worldwide. The company manufactures feed mixers, self-loading feed mixers, self-propelled feed mixers, automatic feeding systems, silage cutters, self-loading silage feeders, silage grabs and stationary feed mixers. Trioliet is headquartered in Oldenzaal, Netherlands, and operates globally.

History

Trioliet was founded by three (trio) brothers from the Liet family in Purmerend. The company later took over Mullos in Losser, a manufacturer of hay conveyors, and moved to Losser, being renamed Trioliet Mullos. It developed paved silos and introduced the first scoop-type silage cutters, followed by an improved saw-type silage cutter and the revolutionary U-type silage cutter. It introduced multifunctional silage-processing machines (self-loading feeder distributors and feeder distributors), then feed mixers with vertical augers. The company moved from Losser to a new factory in Oldenzaal. It introduced the self-propelled mixer feeder wagon Triotrac (capacity 17-24 m³ / 610-860 cu ft), the automatic feeding system Triomatic, and the self-propelled mixer feeder wagon Smartrac (capacity 10-12 m³ / 350-430 cu ft). It introduced the world's largest 3-auger mixer feeder with direct drive (capacity 52 m³ / 1,860 cu ft) and the Triomix P self-loading mixer feeder with strawblower. It moved to its new headquarters at the Kleibultweg, added an assembly hall and a new logistics centre covering a total premises of 51,000 m², installed 4,400 solar panels making it virtually self-sufficient in electricity, and added an energy-saving powder coating installation. It introduced the Triotrac M self-propelled feed mixer (capacity 14 m³), took over Ursus in Opalenica (Polish tractor and agricultural machinery manufacturer) under the new company name Trioliet Polska, opened a new service and sales location Trioliet California, and introduced the Triomatic WP 2 600 feeding robot (capacity 6 m³).
