UP42

UP42 is a geospatial company founded in Berlin in 2019 with the aim of making Earth observation data easier to work with. It brings together leading geospatial data providers and makes their data available through one platform, where customers can access archive imagery, task new data collections, process geospatial data, and integrate it into their own tools and workflows. The platform covers multispectral satellite, aerial, SAR, elevation, lidar, hyperspectral satellite, and other data, and offers centralized procurement, standardized data delivery, processing, and API/SDK access.

UP42 was founded in Berlin in 2019 with the idea that working with Earth observation data should not be as difficult as it often is. The company set out to change the traditional need for deep expertise, multiple provider relationships, and complex technical workflows when accessing and using satellite, aerial, and other geospatial data.
