Verpan

VERPAN – for Verner Panton – is a design company working closely with Verner Panton Design AG to preserve, reissue and recontextualise the Danish architect and designer Verner Panton's body of work, from minute objects to immersive environments. Its collection includes some of Panton's most celebrated designs and recently rediscovered pieces, across the categories of lighting, furniture and accessories. Among its lighting products are the Moon pendant, designed by Verner Panton in 1960, and the Moon Opal pendant in translucent white acrylic.

Verner Panton's lighting and furniture is described as a testament to a playful and unconventional spirit, and VERPAN's collection includes some of his most celebrated designs and recently rediscovered pieces. One such design is the Moon pendant, designed by Verner Panton in 1960 and described as one of his earliest designs in lighting; the relaunch of Panton's Moon Opal Pendant in translucent white acrylic gives the lamp a warm, gentle, poetic glow.

• Moon pendant

  Designed by Verner Panton in 1960, the Moon pendant is characterized by a fan-like design with ten ring-shaped lamellae positioned to provide soft, ambient and glare-free light. Available in white lacquered metal (Small Ø34 cm, Large Ø44.5 cm) and in an Opal version (Ø34 cm, Ø44.5 cm) with lamellae in opal mat acrylic and canopy in white painted metal.

• Moon Opal pendant

  A relaunch of Panton's Moon Opal Pendant in translucent white acrylic, giving the lamp a warm, gentle, poetic glow. Available in Ø34 cm and Ø44.5 cm.
