Wolfspell Records

Wolfspell Records is an independent record label based in Wrocław, Poland, founded in 2014. The label focuses on black metal and closely related genres such as pagan metal, atmospheric black metal and dark ambient. It has released albums, EPs and demos by a roster of mainly European acts, including Eldamar, Kalmankantaja, Mesarthim, Wyrd, Hermóðr, Í Myrkri, Ildskær, Kirottu, Ildfar, Rietas, Spell of Dark, Suicidal Madness and Wyrd. In 2016 the label issued the Summoning tribute sampler In Mordor Where The Shadows Are, which featured contributions from several of these artists. Wolfspell Records operates as a private, independent entity and distributes its releases internationally, with a strong presence in the underground metal scene. Its catalogue includes both CD and vinyl formats, and the label has increasingly moved into wax releases, as highlighted by its own promotional posts.
