Xiaomi Auto launches six free winter services for northern China
Xiaomi Auto officially launched an exclusive northern winter care program offering six free services: a free 15-point safety check, free anti-skid chain borrowing, winter tire change with no labor fee, free storage of removed tires, free unlimited cross-city roadside rescue, and free vehicle pickup for off-site repairs. The program covers eight provinces and regions (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia) and runs from October 15, 2026 to March 31, 2027. Xiaomi Auto says SU7 topped 200,000-yuan-plus sedan sales in September 2026
On Oct 13, 2026, Xiaomi Auto officially announced that in September 2026 the Xiaomi SU7 ranked first in sales among sedans priced above 200,000 yuan. Earlier in the month, Xiaomi Auto's official WeChat account had also announced that its September 2026 deliveries exceeded 40,000 units.

Xiaomi Auto recalls 390,435 SU7 electric vehicles over emergency door handle safety hazard
Xiaomi Auto Technology Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation, recalling a total of 390,435 units of 2024 model Xiaomi SU7 series pure electric vehicles produced between December 27, 2023 and March 4, 2026. The recalled vehicles' interior emergency mechanical door handles are similar in color to the interior trim, making them hard to identify and operate; in extreme cases such as a severe collision causing loss of the low-voltage system, this may hinder occupants' escape and outside rescue. Xiaomi Auto will affix warning labels at the emergency mechanical handles free of charge and upgrade software via OTA to optimize the central lock unlocking logic and window-lowering strategy.

Xiaomi EV business reports Q2 delivery growth and narrowed loss
In its H1 2026 results disclosed on August 18, 2026, Xiaomi reported Q2 revenue of RMB 24.9 billion for its smart EV and AI innovation segment, up 17.1% year on year, with smart EV revenue of RMB 23.9 billion, up 15.9%. Deliveries rose 28.2% to 104,199 units from 81,302 a year earlier, and the segment loss narrowed to RMB 2.6 billion in Q2 from RMB 3.1 billion in Q1, while segment gross margin fell to 19.2% from 26.4%.
