Yaya

Yaya (鸭鸭) is a down jacket brand that was founded in 1972. According to its official website, it is the first down jacket manufacturer in China and has been the global sales leader for three consecutive years (2022-2024). The brand underwent restructuring in 2020 and has since implemented brand innovation measures, achieving over a hundredfold growth in GMV. Yaya was founded in 1972. In 1955, 98 Shanghai youths came to the shores of Poyang Lake to start pioneering work. In 1972, a feather processing workshop was established, and the following year the Gongqing Down Factory was founded. In 1982, the Gongqing Down Products Building was completed, which was the largest down factory in the country at that time. In 1989, Yaya was given as a state gift to visiting foreign dignitaries. In 1992, Yaya accompanied a mountaineering team to climb Namjagbarwa Peak. In 2010, Yaya Stock Company was officially registered. In 2020, Yaya underwent restructuring and began brand innovation. In 2023, Yaya reached a deep strategic cooperation with the Icelandic government. In 2024, Yaya successfully launched the 'China Yaya' satellite, becoming the first down jacket brand to fly into space.
