Overview
Zecchini Editore is an Italian publishing house founded in 1997 by Roberto, Gianluca and Paolo Zecchini, dedicated to specialized publications on classical music. It publishes books and the magazine MUSICA, and its catalog is described as the richest in Italy on classical music.
History
Zecchini Editore was founded in 1997 by Roberto, Gianluca and Paolo Zecchini, following the earlier establishment in 1974 of a typesetting company by Caterina and Nicolino Zecchini. In 1999, the publishing house acquired MUSICA, an Italian magazine on musical culture and discography founded by Umberto Masini in 1977. In 2005, the publisher joined forces with Gaetano Giuffrè, an experienced editorial figure.
