360 DigiTech (360数科) is an AI-driven fintech platform and the financial partner of 360 Group, a Chinese internet security company whose ecosystem connects over one billion devices. On December 14, 2018, 360 Finance listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the United States. In August 2020, the brand was upgraded from "360 Finance" to "360 DigiTech" (360数科). The company is headquartered in Shanghai and has been recognized as a Shanghai private enterprise headquarters. History

360 DigiTech traces its origins to the establishment of 360 Finance Group (360金融集团) in July 2016. The group was created within the ecosystem of 360 Group, a Chinese internet security company, to apply technology to consumer finance and inclusive finance. In March 2017, Fuzhou 360 Online Microfinance Company was established and obtained a network micro-lending license. In June 2018, Fuzhou 360 Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd. was established and obtained a financing guarantee license, adding regulated lending infrastructure to the group. In September 2018, 360 Finance Group began independent operations, a milestone in the company's development. On December 14, 2018 (US Eastern Time), 360 Finance was officially listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the United States. In August 2020, the brand "360 Finance" was officially upgraded to "360 DigiTech" (360数科), reflecting a broader positioning as a technology-driven fintech platform rather than solely a finance company. Since then, 360 DigiTech has emphasized AI, big data, cloud computing and blockchain capabilities. It has built proprietary risk-control technology and offers intelligent risk control, intelligent voice, intelligent marketing and intelligent collection solutions to banks and internet financial institutions. The company has also pursued recognition for data security and privacy management, joining initiatives such as the Data Security Community Plan (DSC) and the Data Security Promotion Plan (DSI), and obtaining ISO27701 privacy information management certification. Qifu Jietiao (formerly 360 Jietiao) complaints top 50,000; lender platform summoned by regulators
Qifu Jietiao, under Qifu Technology (formerly 360 DigiTech), has drawn many complaints over high interest and fees, hidden charges and violent debt collection, with nearly 55,000 complaints. In March 2026 it was summoned by the National Financial Regulatory Administration, which required it to standardize debt collection, fee disclosure and complaint handling; subsidiary Fuzhou Qifu Online Microcredit had previously been fined 1.19 million yuan for credit information management violations.
