Former Central Huijin Deputy General Manager Zhang Hong'an Expelled from Party for Serious Discipline and Law Violations

Zhang Hong'an served as deputy general manager of Central Huijin Investment Ltd. from 2011 to 2019, and later as a member of the Party Committee and chairman of the supervisory board of China Jianyin Investment Ltd., a Huijin subsidiary. He was placed under investigation in December 2020; in May 2021, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced that he had been expelled from the Party, and suspected criminal issues were transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution. The announcement said he resisted organizational review, used vehicles and entered private clubs in violation of rules, illegally held stocks, leaked work secrets, used his position to seek benefits for others in investment shareholding, credit financing, employee recruitment and other areas, and demanded and accepted huge amounts of property. Progress: investigation opened. Entity involved: Zhang Hong'an (former deputy general manager of Central Huijin, former chairman of the supervisory board of China Jianyin Investment).
