On the evening of October 13, 2026, Apple officially launched a line of new smart home products: the HomeView smart home hub with a display, the second-generation HomePod mini, and an upgraded Apple TV 4K. Apple also launched with LG and Schneider Electric a complete accessory system covering doorbells, locks, indoor/outdoor cameras, thermostats and environmental sensors for the HomeKit ecosystem. Only the second-generation HomePod mini (priced at 1,099 yuan, going on sale October 30) is initially listed on Apple's mainland China website; the HomeView will not be sold in the EU for now because Siri AI features are not yet enabled there, with Apple stating it is actively communicating with regulators on a compliant technical adaptation, and mainland China users likewise cannot use the Siri AI features at this stage.
