Visionox

Visionox is described on its official site as a globally leading innovative supplier of integrated new-display solutions. The company was founded in 2001, with its predecessor being a Tsinghua University OLED project group established in 1996. It focuses on the OLED business and has developed into an enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales. It has applied for more than 20,000 OLED-related key patents and has led the formulation of OLED international, national and industry standards. Its products are supplied in volume to a number of first-tier brand customers at home and abroad and are used in consumer electronics, industrial control instruments, finance, medical, automotive and communications fields.

Visionox's predecessor was a Tsinghua University OLED project group established in June 1996. Beijing Visionox Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2001. In January 2002, it built mainland China's first OLED pilot production line. In October 2008, it built mainland China's first PMOLED production line. In May 2010, it built mainland China's first AMOLED pilot production line. In December 2014, it built mainland China's first professional 5.5-generation AMOLED production line. In May 2018, it built China's first 6th-generation full-flexible AMOLED production line. In December 2020, it built the Visionox (Guangzhou) full-flexible AMOLED module production line and the Visionox (Hefei) 6th-generation full-flexible AMOLED production line. In June 2021, it built mainland China's first Micro-LED pilot production line. In December 2023, it completed the Visionox (Hefei) 6th-generation full-flexible AMOLED module production line.

  From 2018 to 2020, Visionox’s net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses was negative for consecutive years; government subsidies of about RMB 2.031 billion, 1.056 billion, and 1.144 billion respectively supported book profits, and the exchange questioned it. In 2021, the Jiangsu Securities Regulatory Bureau ordered rectification because related-party transaction disclosure and unrealized profits of associate companies were not eliminated, causing revenue in the 2019 half-year report and third-quarter report to be misstated by RMB 92 million and RMB 135 million respectively. The screen, built with Tsinghua's customized pTSF technology, will make its global debut on the iQOO Neo12 (6.83-inch AMOLED), with claimed gains versus the previous generation of 8% luminous efficiency, 10% global peak brightness, 6.5% lower power consumption and 50% longer screen lifespan, plus viewing-angle improvements and adaptation of over 50 native 185fps games.

  On October 14, 2026, iQOO held a display technology communication event at Beijing Tsinghua Science Park and, together with Visionox and Tsinghua University, released the new 'Sky Mirror' emissive material and a 2K 185Hz 'Super Crown' display. The screen will debut globally on the iQOO Neo12, which iQOO said will be officially unveiled at the end of October. Under the collaboration, Tsinghua University led pTSF technology R&D, Visionox was responsible for advanced manufacturing processes, and iQOO led product definition.
